Simon3 control Panel

Overview
Simon 3 panel offers up to 24 zones of burglary and fire protection and complies with SIA False Alarm Standards. With a built-in touchpad and status speaker that provides voice messages for feedback, Simon 3 is well-suited for houses, apartments, and condominiums.

Outstanding Features

Using remote phone control, you can arm and disarm the system, check system status, activate no entry delay, or activate the latchkey feature. With latchkey capabilities, the panel can be programmed to notify customers if the system has not been disarmed at a scheduled time.

Convenient and Expandable
Add convenient system operation from anywhere within the premises with wireless touchpads. Choose from the Remote Handheld Touchpad, Dialog 2-Way RF Touchpad, 2-, 4-, or 5-Button SAW Keychain Touchpads, 2- or 4-Button Crystal Keychain Touchpads, or 2-Button ELM (encrypted learn mode) Keychain Touchpad. ELM technology secures every keychain touchpad transmission. When powered by the optional line carrier transformer, adding X10® modules lets customers control lights, appliances, and other devices. The Dialog RF Electronic Thermostat provides a money-saving and convenient way to monitor and control temperatures by integrating heating and cooling features into a security system.

Enhanced Monitoring
Simon 3 can be a monitored system that sends messages to a central monitoring station using SIA or contact ID (CID) formats, or to a numeric pager carried by a designated user. The panel can also report alarms to another land line phone location or cell phone using voice Event Notification. Built-in 2-way voice capability with VOX (voice-activated switching) provides additional security and emergency contact with the control monitoring station (model 60-875-11-3 only).

Audible Glass Break Sensor

ShatterPro® Crystal glassbreak sensor, 360° x 20 ft. radius coverage

The Wireless ShatterPro™ series, which is ideal for applications where hardwired acoustic sensors are impractical, listens for actual patterns of breaking glass using Pattern Recognition Technology™. These sensors feature a 20-ft. (6 m) range from sensor to glass. The sensor is suitable for use in quiet occupied areas on the perimeter loop.

The sensor’s low-profile housing accepts most wireless transmitters inside the back box. A simple hand clap feature lets the user confirm that the sensor is operational, or a handheld tester can be activated at close range.

Wireless Smoke and Heat Detector

Wireless Smoke Photoelectric Alarm with Crystal Transmitter

The TX Series supervised wireless smoke alarms are self-diagnostic and include an integrated Learn Mode 319.5MHz crystal transmitter. Features of the TX Series wireless smoke alarms include photoelectric technology, integral Temp 3 sounder, automatic drift compensation, replaceable optical chamber, low battery annunciation, status/sensitivity reading LED, mounting base tamper, and integrated fixed temp./ROR heat sensor. The TX Series wireless smoke alarms can be used with selected GE Security control panels, such as Simon and Concord and make the perfect fire/life safety add-on to a monitored security system.

Wireless Panic Button
 
Activate police, medical, or auxiliary alarms with a personal wireless panic button. When the micro panic buttons are activated, an LED mounted under the front cover will blink and an alarm signal is transmitted. The recessed button prevents false alarms.

The micro panic buttons have different adapters that allow the button to be worn as a pendant or watch, clipped to a belt or purse, or mounted to the wall. This models configuration are displayed above.

Wireless Touchpad

The touchpad provides auxiliary control in the home where there are multiple entry and exit points or multiple levels. It is also good for systems where more than one control point is desired and allows the user to enter commands and hear feedback from the panel.
