Two-Way Voice is an audio device added to an alarm or emergency response system, incorporating a speaker and microphone. This allows the Central Monitoring Station to hear what's going on at the premises when the alarm goes off, and directly converse with the homeowner. This feature is invaluable when it comes to reducing false alarms and improving emergency response time. Q. How Does A Two-Way Voice System Work? A. Once the alarm has been activated, a microphone is initiated, allowing the monitoring station to listen in to the protected premises. The dispatcher, through a speaker also located in the system, converses directly with the premises, controlling the audio exchange. Q. What Are the Best Uses For Two-Way Voice? A.
